MBL were appointed by JTRE London to undertake the full supply and installation of the blockwork package at Edward Edwards, 220 Blackfriars Road, London. The scope of works included facing blockwork to the B2 and B1 basement levels, incorporating associated ancillary works and complex Builders Work in Connection (BWIC) requirements, which were fully coordinated with JTRE and the M&E contractor. From Ground Floor to Level 15, MBL carried out blockwork to boundary walls, internal partition walls and intricate architectural brickwork features. In addition, MBL were responsible for the installation of the Type C Cavity Drain Membrane System to the B2 and B1 basement levels. These works included the application of Hydroflow HP and Hydroseal FX to the retaining walls, working closely with JTRE London and Premcrete to ensure technical compliance, seamless coordination and a high-quality finish throughout.
